Ontario offers its businesses a network of partnerships and resources to help recruit talented and trained employees - saving employers both time and money. Many programs such as job referral and applicant screening services, tailored recruitments, on-the-job and customized training programs are provided at no charge to employers.
San Bernardino County Workforce Development Department (WDD)
The San Bernardino County Workforce Development Department helps businesses recruit, hire, and train employees through workforce training, recruitment assistance, applicant screening, labor market information, tax credit resources, employer toolkits, and more.
The WDD also sponsors the Employer Advisory Council and provides a Professional Resource Network for managerial and technical workers.

Ontario City Library Workforce Development Office
Through a partnership with San Bernardino County, the City of Ontario offers workforce development services to county residents through the Workforce Development Office, located on the lower level of the Ovitt Family Community Library.

State of California Employment Training Panel (ETP)
The Employment Training Panel (ETP) provides funding to employers to assist in upgrading the skills of their workers through training. The ETP is a funding agency, not a training agency. Businesses determine their own training needs and how to provide training. ETP staff is available to assist in applying for funds and other aspects of participation.

Chaffey College Workforce Training Institute - InTech Center

Baldy View ROP offers occupational training that generally results in certification directed toward a specific occupation, as well as on-the-job training, skills upgrade training, technical training and vocational training.

UC Riverside Extension – Corporate Custom Training Program
This training program can assess an employer’s training needs and tailor a program specifically for the organization. Employees participating in the training must be permanent, full-time (32+ hours per week), and earn a minimum wage set by the State. The company's primary business must be in logistics, warehousing, supply chain management, manufacturing, or construction management, determined by North American Industry Classification System (NAICS), or face significant out-of-state competition. .
