Community Facilities and Services

Ontario, California is more than a city; it’s a community that is home to nearly 170,000 people. Through city officials’ foresight and community leaders’ determination, Ontario has many community facilities that serve every Ontario resident, whether they are young children, energetic teenagers, growing families or active retirees.

The city of Ontario, California, has several community centers that offer a variety of recreational activities and educational programs for the entire family, which means there are options for all ages and for most interests. Residents can sign up for sports, recreation, fitness, clubs, crafts, educational classes and social events at Anthony Munoz Community Center, Dorothy A. Quesada Community Center, De Anza Community Center and Westwind Community Center, as well as the Ontario Teen Center and Ontario Senior Center. Ontario also has an extensive system of parks and recreational facilities, such as the Ontario Soccer Park and Jay Littleton Ball Park.

At the Ontario Museum of History and Art, visitors can enjoy free public programs, exhibits and workshops. Both the museum’s permanent and temporary exhibits not only feature local Ontario history but also explore a broad range of topics and artistic mediums within the museum’s galleries.
