Graber Olive House

On the great, colorful ranches of Early California, olive trees flourished in the favorable climate and soil, and were enthusiastically planted. Tables of the early ranchos were set with plenty of fruits and wine, and always, olives whose nut-like flavor and healthfulness were highly esteemed.

Founded in Southern California's Ontario in 1894, C.C. Graber Co. allowed olives to mature on the trees. The olives were then carefully hand picked and cured. The natural full flavor and succulence of the olives was preserved and a rare delicacy was created.

The same careful process is practiced today. Graber Olives are fully tree-ripened to a cherry-red color and carefully hand picked. After the curing process, the olives are varying shades of Italian Renaissance greenish brown. Described as a mellow taste of surprising complexity, Graber Olives have a delicate rich flavor and succulent texture enjoyed by generations of families throughout the world.

The historic Graber Olive House is nearby Ontario's Civic Center and just minutes from LA-Ontario International Airport (ONT). Still family-owned and operated, the Graber Olive House is a popular year-round tourist stop with a unique blend of old and new. At peak production, the cannery pulsates with the vibrancy of any modern factory. Yet, only yards away, turn-of-century structures built by the founder still stand strong – perhaps in tribute to the heritage of Ontario's oldest existing business.
