LIFE SCIENCES: Last week, the City of Ontario attended the 2015 International Bio Conference in search of life sciences businesses interetested in locating their manufacturing and distribution companies in Ontario, California. Jobs in life sciences, including medical device manfacturing, pharmaectuical research and development and even food manufacturing are high paying, high growth sectors.JOB GROWTH: Inland Empire added 3,400 jobs last month and unemployment stands at 6.4 percent compared to Los Angeles County's 7.6 percent. Read more here.ENERGY INCENTIVES: Southern California Edison started offering a new incentive aimed at businesses considering leaving the State of California. Read more here. Meanwhile, the State of California continues to offer a wide variety of incentives to current and expanding businesses, according to this website.FUN, FUN, FUN: The popular Summer Concert Series and Movies in the Park series in Ontario Town Square continues. This Wednesday, the Summer Concert Series will feature Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band, Rumours, from 7 PM to 8:30 PM. On Friday, the featured movie presentation will be Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day from 7 PM to 9 PM.
