Did you know Armstrong Nursery was founded in Ontario? The story goes that John S. Armstrong arrived in the Model Colony of Ontario, California in 1889 with only $23 to his name. He created an enterprise that tapped into California’s bountiful landscape, established himself as a world famous nurseryman, and reached Ontario international recognition. You can learn more about him at the Ontario Museum of History and Art, but you will have to act quickly as the exhibition is set to end October 31. Euclid Avenue, Ontario.Keep on Climbing: Hotel stays continue to rise, which means the tourism industry is rebounding. Ontario room occupancy is at 75.3 percent, up 4.9 percent over 2014. The average daily room rate is at $83.1, up 7.5 percent compared to last year. Events at the Ontario Convention Center during September 2015 included
