The Holt Boulevard Corridor is a significant historic east-west thoroughfare that originally connected Los Angeles with Palm Springs before the construction of the I-10 freeway. Today, Holt Corridor features multiple residential neighborhoods with schools, parks, and recreation facilities, enjoying close proximity to major transportation assets like freeways, rail lines, and the Ontario International Airport.

Holt Boulevard is undergoing an extensive revitalization that will draw significant economic activity to the area. The San Bernardino County Transit Authority's West Valley Connector Project is one of the major the catalysts for investment and development along Holt Boulevard, adding approximately 3.5 miles as center running, dedicated bus-only lanes.

The San Bernardino County Transportation Authority,  in cooperation with Omnitrans and the cities of Pomona, Montclair, Ontario, and Rancho Cucamonga, is constructing Phase 1 of the West ValleyConnector Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project (Project). The Project is a 19-mile corridor from downtown Pomona to Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga located primarily along Holt Boulevard and Foothill Boulevard in the counties of Los Angeles and San Bernardino, California.
